The state of Alaska is being sued over a bill Governor Bill Walker signed into law allowing for the issuance of bonds to pay off the state’s outstanding oil tax credit obligations. State officials in their announcement said HB 331 is currently on hold and will not likely move forward until the lawsuit is settled. Forrer v. Alaska, has been referred to Superior Court Judge Jude Pate, was filed against the state by Juneau resident Eric Forrer.last_img
