Now thankfully, plans to install a full crossing with traffic lights will go ahead as soon as is possible. “At last Tuesday’s meeting of the Inishowen Electoral Area Committee meeting, the senior roads engineer agreed to my proposal to install the crossing as long as local businesses were in favour of the proposal.“As such, local Sinn Féin members along with member of the local community, met with every business in the village and asked them to sign a petition in favour of a full and controlled pedestrian crossing.“Every single business has now pledged their support and the campaign for the crossing has finally been taken over the line.“This crossing will massively improve road safety in Muff and I want to commend the local community, the local businesses and my Sinn Féin colleagues for bringing this campaign to a successful conclusion.”  MUFF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING FINALLY GETS GO-AHEAD was last modified: November 18th, 2013 by John2Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:Jack Murraymuffpedestrian crossinglast_img read more
