Delhi University opens the admissions door today

first_imgThe online registration for admissions to post-graduate courses in Delhi University will kick off from Thursday.The university, for the first time, will be holding the entrance exams at six centres across the country – Bengaluru, Nagpur, Delhi Jammu, Varanasi and Kolkata. The registration process will end on May 24.”The registration for admission to PG courses will start from tomorrow evening (Thursday) and end on May 24. For the first time, provisions have been made to conduct entrance examinations based on multiple choice questions at six centres,” the university said in its official statement.Till now, the exams were only conducted in Delhi and the outstation students had to visit the national capital to write the exam. The university has also done away with subjective question papers except for the foreign language courses.The changes in the admission policy have been made on basis of recommendations of an 18-member standing committee, comprising deans of various faculties.
