first_img—- triple-header slated for today at GFCPOLICE beat Flamingo 3-0 and Camptown edged Northern Rangers 2-1 when action in the Georgetown Football Association (GFA)/Stag Premium League continued on Friday last at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground with a double-header.The victories for both GFC and Camptown are the two teams’ second consecutive wins since the tournament got underway last weekend at the same venue.Shemar Fraser opened the scoring for Police with a 32nd minute goal and Rawle Haynes sealed the issue with a brace in the 80th and 85th minutes.In the feature game, Shane Jones and Oriel Small found the back of Northern Rangers’ net in the 8th and 19th minutes respectively, while Devon Jason pulled one back for Northern Rangers.When the tournament got underway one week ago, Police’s Fraser, Kester Dundas, Dwayne Jacobs and Travis Jones were the members of the lawmen’s team in their 4-1 win against Riddim Squad.On the same day, Richie Richards netted a brace for Camptown in his team’s 2-1 win against Pele.Meanwhile, the $2M cash prize tournament will continue today at the same venue with a triple-header which will see Pele taking on Santos in the feature game from 20:00hrs, while the curtain raiser from 16:00hrs pits homeside GFC and Black Pearl.
